VEGAN CILANTRO LIME CREMA
Vegan Cilantro Lime Crema (Dairy-Free & Oil-Free)
This dairy-free crema is so delicious! It’s rich and creamy and perfect for adding a little tangy goodness to your potatoes, salads, tacos, nachos, quesadillas… all the things!
INGREDIENTS
1 cup raw cashews
1/4 cup cilantro (coarsely chopped)
1/2 cup almond milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
METHOD
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until creamy and smooth. ENJOY!!!
Makes about 8-10 servings
NOTES:
Soaking the cashews in water for about an hour will make a creamier sour cream. If time doesn’t permit, you can soak the cashews in boiled water for about 10 minutes. If you have a high speed blender, like a Vitamix, you can skip this step.
