EASY OIL FREE HUMMUS
Easy Oil Free Hummus
This simple & delicious hummus is packed with protein! Serve with your favorite veggies, on a sandwich or with vegan flatbread. Jazz it up with roasted red peppers, sun dried tomatoes or extra garlic.
INGREDIENTS
15oz. can chickpeas
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup tahini
1 large clove garlic
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup water
Smoked paprika (optional on top)
METHOD
Rinse chickpeas and boil in water for about 5-10 minutes. Drain and allow to cool slightly. Boiling is optional but recommended for a creamier hummus.
Add all ingredients to a food processor or high speed blender. Blend on low for 2-3 minutes or until creamy, adding more water if needed.
Sprinkle smoked paprika on top (optional but delicious) and ENJOY!!!
Makes 8-10 servings
